Aedison Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of aedison.io ("Site") and the Aedison web application ("Service"), operated by Wawa Llama Ltd. trading as Aedison ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2 What Aedison Does

Aedison is a web application that turns a topic of your choice into AI-assisted content artefacts: post ideas grounded in trending Reddit signal, short-form video scripts, image carousels, and short text-overlay reels ("text reels"). The Service depends on third-party AI providers (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI) and public Reddit data collected via Bright Data Ltd, a public-web data collection provider. 3 Accounts

To use the Service you must:

  • be 18 years of age or older;
  • provide an accurate email address and choose a secure password;
  • keep your credentials confidential — you are responsible for any activity under your account;
  • notify us promptly at hello@aedison.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms (see §11).


4 Plans, Credits and Billing

4.1 Plans

Aedison is offered on tiered subscription plans (currently Starter, Plus and Pro) billed monthly or annually via Stripe. The features, monthly credit allowance and price of each plan are shown at aedison.io/pricing and inside the app under Settings → My plan.

4.2 Credits

Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Generations consume credits at the rates published on the pricing page and inside the app. You can also buy one-time credit packs from Settings → Buy credits to top up at any time.

Credits:

  • are non-refundable and have no cash value;
  • cannot be transferred between accounts;
  • are spent in this order: current month's allowance first, then banked rollover (see §4.3), then any purchased pack credits.

We may adjust per-feature credit costs from time to time. Changes that would materially reduce the value of an active subscription will be announced at least 14 days in advance via email.

4.3 Credit rollover

Unused allowance credits roll over into a banked balance, subject to the limits below. Rollover only accrues while you have an active paid subscription; if your subscription ends, any banked rollover is forfeited at the end of your final paid period (see §4.6). Purchased pack credits behave differently and are covered in §4.6.

  • The rollover ceiling caps how much can sit in your banked balance. Anything above the ceiling at period reset is forfeit.
  • The per-month spend cap caps how many credits can be consumed in a single billing period regardless of banked balance. A user with a fully-loaded annual bucket can still only spend up to 2× their monthly allowance in any one month.
  • Banked credits never expire while you remain subscribed. Switching plan or billing interval applies the new plan's rollover ceiling at the next period boundary; any existing balance above the new ceiling at that point is forfeit.

4.4 Daily safety caps

To prevent abuse and runaway costs, the Service enforces per-day caps on the number of idea, script, carousel and text reel generations regardless of credit balance. The current caps are shown inside the app under Settings → Usage.

4.5 Prices and taxes

Prices are quoted in USD and shown exclusive of taxes. Stripe Tax computes any VAT/sales tax owed based on your billing country at checkout. Quaderno issues tax-compliant invoices, available under Settings → Billing & invoices.

4.6 Renewals and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → My plan; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep full access until then. We do not pro-rate refunds for mid-period cancellations.

What happens to credits when you cancel:

  • Monthly allowance and banked rollover (the credits that came with your subscription) are forfeited at the end of your final paid period. They were tied to the plan you're leaving.
  • Purchased credit packs are credits you bought separately and they do not expire. They remain on your account and are usable from the moment you next subscribe to any paid plan. If you delete your account or are terminated for breach (see §11), purchased packs are forfeit along with everything else.

4.7 Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on the first paid month of your first ever Aedison subscription. To claim, email hello@aedison.io within 7 days of the first charge. After this window, all sales are final.

4.8 Failed payment

If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you by email and may suspend access to paid features after a short grace period. Stripe will retry the payment; you can update your card at any time under Settings → Billing & invoices.


5 Acceptable Use

You must not use Aedison to:

  • generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone else's rights;
  • generate content designed to deceive (e.g. impersonating a real person without authorisation, fabricating quotes attributed to real individuals, presenting AI output as the unedited word of an identified expert);
  • attempt to reverse-engineer the Service or extract its prompts, schemas, or model outputs in bulk;
  • circumvent or attempt to circumvent credit limits, daily caps or rate limits;
  • resell or commercially redistribute access to the Service itself;
  • attempt unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data;
  • use the Service in a way that violates the terms of any third-party platform on which you publish the resulting content (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without refund.


6 Your Content and AI-Generated Output

6.1 Source content

Aedison surfaces public Reddit posts as signal for generation. That source content remains the property of its original creators. If you republish or adapt material grounded in a specific source, you are responsible for any rights, attribution or licensing obligations that come with that source.

6.2 Generated output

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the underlying AI providers' terms (Anthropic and OpenAI), you own the output Aedison produces for you and may use it for any lawful purpose, commercial or otherwise. Aedison makes no claim of ownership over your output.

6.3 No warranty on AI output

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or hallucinated. You are responsible for reviewing every output before publishing or acting on it. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, fit for any particular purpose, or free of intellectual-property conflicts with third parties.

6.4 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Wawa Llama Ltd. harmless from any claims arising out of content you generate and publish using the Service, including claims of defamation, IP infringement, or violation of third-party platform rules.


7 Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, upgrades, or to respond to a security incident. Credits are not refunded for short outages.


8 Changes to the Service and Terms

We may change the Service, plans, prices and these Terms at any time. For changes that materially affect an active subscription (e.g. a price increase or a reduction in monthly credits), we will notify existing subscribers at least 14 days before the change takes effect via the email on file. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.


9 Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following third-party processors and infrastructure providers. Their terms govern your use of those services through Aedison. We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services.

  • Stripe (payments, Stripe Tax)
  • Quaderno (tax-compliant invoicing)
  • Anthropic (Claude API, AI text generation)
  • OpenAI (gpt-image-2, AI image generation)
  • Bright Data (public Reddit listing collection)
  • Loops (transactional and marketing email)
  • Vercel (application hosting)
  • Supabase (database, authentication, file storage)
  • Sentry (error tracking and performance monitoring)
  • Upstash (job queue and rate-limit cache)
  • Google Analytics 4 (web analytics)
  • Meta Pixel (advertising attribution)

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Aedison is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied;
  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of business opportunity;
  • our total cumulative liability arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service is capped at the greater of (a) USD 100, or (b) the total fees you have paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.


11 Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes all ideas, scripts, carousels and text reels tied to your account, cancels any active Stripe subscription, and removes your contact record from Loops.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you breach these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of credits or unused subscription time, except where required by law.

Email hello@aedison.io for any question, refund request, or data-rights request. We aim to respond within one UK business day.


13 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any consumer-protection rights you have under your local law.
